PROGRAM:
The Trinity House
Phone: 706-322-3773
The Trinity house is a new transitional home for women and children.
Currently they have 5 bedrooms, with 20 beds total. The Trinity House aims to provide holistic support for women, not stopping at just housing them but also providing for all of their needs, as well as trying to provide a complete support system for each individual person. They provide these things in hopes of getting people quickly back on their feet again, but providing a place they can feel safe and taken care of in the meantime. They have a communal kitchen on-site that stays stocked with food, as well as a computer room that’s available to anyone staying there. They keep daily needs items as well such as clothing and hygiene items. They help with job counseling and training, and helping people find physical and mental health assistance. They also help with showing people how to manage their money and help them in finding affordable housing. All intakes are done at the SafeHouse and they should be the initial contact for people interested in staying at the Trinity House. The SafeHouse is located at 1007 7th ave, Columbus GA.
